My Students
My students are phenomenal to take on the Virtual Academy for the first time in our district and during a pandemic. I am so proud of my hard-workers that are getting the job done by any means necessary. They assist each other, when needed, by reinforcing each other to prep for mastery tests and keep their study partners informed because they know they are held accountable for their actions.
From the beginning, I told them we are all in this together, and I have high expectations for all my students to achieve their goals, whether personal or academic.
I can see the progress everyday, and I am so proud of them for continuing to be virtual students. They inspire me, and I inspire them as well. They tend to not give up, and push forward no matter the storm. It could be technical issues, software issues, their educational platform, background issues, etc. They will still be there for streaming ,and when their assignments are completed.
My Project
In order to enhance my virtual students' experiences, these materials will definitely make a difference by being able to provide a virtual environment that my students will feel comfortable and able to be academically successful; for example, instructional examples will be projected, implementation will be better or enhanced for the teacher to provide a better learning experience.
If these materials are provided, I will be able to implement the curriculum at a better pace and time frame.
With these materials, my virtual classroom can run smoother, and my students will be better equipped educationally to have better results when mastering tests.
