We have a great group of students at our school. We have several economically disadvantaged families, but our students work hard to learn and grow academically. We have been recognized as a reward school for the past two years due to our students' hard work and growth.
My Project
These technology resources would be used to help me reach all of my remote distancing learners with the latest technology. This school year has presented many new challenges and opportunities and we have identified a few areas that we need support in. Our remote learners need to be able to see what is going on in the classroom and have presented materials to be clearly visible. An iPad in our classroom would provide a high-quality camera for students to be able to see and experience what is going on in the classroom. The mobility and clarity that an iPad offer would increase my ability to see and connect with my students in order to provide them with the best educational experience possible while also allowing them to remain safe. Also, many of the resources I use and show are internet-based and this technology would allow me to show; manipulate, and annotate over the resources in order to give my students the possible chance to learn and grow. This iPad and Apple Pencil will provide that opportunity to ensure the continued learning and success of our students both in school and at home. We know that with the right tools and opportunities we can help every child reach their full potential.
