My Students

They are creative, hardworking, clever, and resourceful.

I have seen them become very independent and interested in culinary during this pandemic.

They have stepped up with being involved within the community by working in the restaurant industry and helping with catering events for our program.

My Project

I am trying to show my students how to cook virtually has been a challenge. A go pro will allow me to create tutorial videos easier. A large tv for our kitchen is beneficial so we can watch tutorial videos in our kitchen while we are working on labs. The go pro will help with virtual learning while the tv will help when we are in the classroom. Many times I have needed to show them a certain culinary skill in the kitchen but have been held back by only having my webcam. Also, being able to access video resources by a tv, will save time in our kitchen.
