Virtual and Engaging Learning to Infinity and Beyond!
Help me give my students a monitor and other technology for an innovative, virtual learning experience that will extend the high-quality education that I strive to provide that will allow my students to maximize their learning virtually.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
While the 2020-2021 school year will definitely present its own unique set of challenges, the one thing that I am certain of is that in just a few weeks, I will have the great pleasure to teach a special group of young and aspiring third graders, excited to embark on a new school year.
Whether learning virtually or in a new learning environment, my students are special in every way and should be given the utmost learning experience, considering they are the first in history to deal with these unforeseen circumstances.
It is essential to have the tools necessary to continue to provide my students with engaging and effective learning experiences virtually allowing my students to thrive and grow.
My Project
More than every, teachers need to be ready to respond to challenges that none of us have ever experienced, including adapting to creating engaging virtual learning experiences that support students’ academic, physical, social and emotional needs.
To meet the needs of all 21st Century Learners, it is imperative to create engaging virtual environments for students.
While teaching virtually, it is essential to maintain student interest by creating engaging educational experiences and presentations. Having an additional monitor will allow me to move from one task to another without interruption while giving me more time to maintain rapport with students. The additional resources will allow me to move freely throughout the classroom and provide high quality virtual learning to my students.
Having access to these virtual teaching resources will not only give me time to maximize my teaching through one on one conferences and small group work but it will also allow me to differentiate my teaching to meet each of my students' individual needs from a distance as well.
