Virtual 3D Field Trips

My Students

I teach diverse, inner city, school kids from all over the district. They are creative and energetic students who love technology. They know how to problem solve and work collaboratively on challenging problems. Everything they do builds into a presentable project or product. The students work on real work life skills to be ready for the world of work. They are also college prepped and bound. Students from my school are well prepared to be successful adults in the real world.

My Project

During this pandemic, students have not been able to go on many field trips outside of the classroom. I want to bring these fields to the students, right from the classroom. There are many places that the students can see right from the classroom but with an Oculus, they can each have a chance to see what it is like if they are really there.

3D virtual field trips will allow students to experience the world right from the classroom.

Even without a pandemic students can only see what is around their community, but with this they will be able to experience anywhere in the world.
