Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our VIPs (Very Important Pupils) are amazing students! We are at B. Elementary...a school with a long-standing history. From my very first encounter with them at Open House, I could tell that they were curious, loving, funny, and active. Students were showing me dance moves and giving the most amazing hugs! Yes, these kiddos are SO ready to be my VIPs. Readers, thinkers, mathematicians, writers, and goal achievers . . . my VIPs lead! I am so blessed to guide them on this beautiful journey called kindergarten. Let's go! It's time to rock!

My Project

My students needs vary widely this year so I need more resources such as board games, learning activities and books that I can print to help meet learners where they are at and bring them to higher levels of achievement!

With colorful games and books in the hands of my VIPs I know they will soar high!

Many times I have seen students struggling to make out black and white pictures in books, but if the pictures are in color then they will be able see the pictures and understand the words better! I also know that kids love color so that will make interacting with the resources much more fun!
