Help me give my students the opportunity to use quality carbon fiber and graphite bows, that are well balanced as well as strong, as they learn the delicate art of producing beautiful music on the violin.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse, including immigrants from at least five continents. These children are bright, enthusiastic, and cheerful. High poverty and difficult home situations don't define them. They have some of the best teachers you'll find anywhere; these kids are a pleasure to teach.
My students play the violin in my class each year in 3rd through 5th grades.
I only get to see each class once each week, but they work hard at learning the violin while they are with me. I project the music we play on a screen, so there is no question about what page each student is seeing as they learn to read music while playing. We use four different sizes of violins to accommodate the ages and sizes of the children. Since each violin is used by a number of students in different classes, the bow hair wears out more rapidly than it would if each instrument were only used by one student.
My Project
We have violins for each student to use in class, but many of them are getting thin on bow hair, as they are under heavy use. Some new carbon and graphite bows will enable the children to have a better quality experience, as the weight and balance of the bow, with adequate hair, helps them to learn to produce the best quality of sound.
It is gratifying to see many of my former students who now attend the middle school next door carrying school instruments to and from school.
It shows me that they value the experience they gained in my classes enough to want to continue playing violin, or another instrument.
