My Students

My students come from a low income district. Some students come to school with no supplies and have no way of getting them. Although they have hardships, these students come to school with a great attitude! They are ready to learn and want to succeed.

Through their hard work, our students are trying their best to become great leaders for the world.

These students try to make their lives better and go the extra mile in their learning. We have increased our technology... now it's time to bring back the literature.

My Project

In my classroom, I have students who are absent for various reasons. When they miss my lessons, it's very hard for them to catch up in social studies due to it being strictly lecture. They then fall behind because they have to read the lesson by themselves.

The students would benefit from listening to my lectures if they are absent.

Throughout the week, I have people who are absent and can not catch up with the class because the chapter lessons are difficult to understand. I talk the lesson through with them everyday and if they are absent, they get behind.
