My Students

My students are the best! My students listen to and create stories in Spanish that allow them to better acquire the language. They also work collaboratively to learn about the language and culture. They love to read for pleasure in Spanish and share their books with their classmates.

They enjoy interactive activities that allow them to get up and move around the room while communicating in Spanish.

Their favorite activities are listening to comprehensible input in Spanish. They also love songs in Spanish!

My Project

My students will use the headphones to help them record videos in Spanish! We often record using FlipGrid or Voki, but it is difficult to hear the speaker, especially in a classroom of 30 students. These headphones have a built in microphone that will make it easier for the listener to hear the speaker. The headphones will also be used for taking listening exams.

Students will use the calendar visuals and headphones with microphones to help them record their weather report video.

We will use the calendar visuals all year long through comprehensible input. The stickers are their reward for stepping outside of their comfort zone and being creative using the language. Thank you for considering our project!
