My Students

My students come from a low-income farming community. Our school is more like a family due to its small size. When I say a small school; I truly mean a small school. For example, a typical class size is around 15-18 kids in each grade. My students have hearts of gold and are some of the most giving children around.

I believe having the use of technology can really open up some doors to my students now and in the future.

My Project

Our school is moving toward project-based learning and with that comes bringing their ideas to life. Writing, creating, producing, and editing videos can and will provide my students with many 21 st Century Learning skills. These skills are needed in the workforce today.

I look forward to being able to view what my students are able to create when they have all the appropriate materials.

We have a couple of cameras that the kids are using constantly! Our only problem now is the long line we have to edit all of the videos. Only having one computer to edit really drags out the project and interest gets lost.
