Help me give my students a great virtual experience by providing a dry erase board, dry erase markers, and chat paper to help me provide vibrant, eye-catching, personalized intentional instruction.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are enthusiastic, creative and absolutely love learning, although the method (personalized learning) and environment in which they learn varies for each student. I love that my students are all mixed-up, because we practice inclusion, so you will not who is who! They are very technology driven and many of them have been in classes together since Kindergarten! They have very close relationships, some have family type relationships outside of school that extends to their parents. They support and challenge each other daily!
They are highly engaged students who love using all available options when it comes to showing mastery of content, as well as using all resources that’s provided to them.
That’s where the personalized learning comes into play. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating to accommodate their love for spreading out and getting down to work! They come prepared and ready to have new learning experiences and they are big risk takers. They are truly an inspiration! They challenge me as well as keep me on my toes!! I am excited to be working with them again, they were previously my 4th graders!
My Project
These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning because having the dry erase board, markers, and chart paper will help me to make the instruction more vibrant, intentional and catch the attention of the students via virtual instruction.
Providing the best virtual instruction includes having a visual calendar to share with the students.
The calendar will help myself as well as the students stay on track with the lessons and the storage cart will allow me to store all needed materials and keep them close for instruction.
