Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from different backgrounds. More than 56% of the students are on free or reduced lunch.

We have about 40% of students that are English Language Learners, that is English not being their first language.

Creating a Robotics team for our students would be a dream come true.

My Project

Our K-8 Center is beginning the STEM designation journey this 2021-2022 school year. We are looking to add to our STEM designation a Robotics team. However, we do not have a field or a robot to turn the dream into a reality.

VEX IQ Education Kit and two fields would be a great start to have a Robotics team come to life.

Our K-8 is committed to having students embrace the vision of STEM. The VEX IQ is a snap-together robotics system, making it fast and easy to build an endless variety of robots.
