My students are amazing. They are eager to learn and soak up everything I give them. My students come from diverse backgrounds and everyone brings something unique to our classroom. They love exploring new ideas and new ways of thinking about things. Many of my students live in extreme poverty and don't have books and other resources available at home.
My students are hard workers and work daily towards their goals of being the best they can be no matter the challenges they face.
They give their all in everything they do, in and out of the classroom everyday.
Many of my students are struggling readers. These VersaTile activities will give my students the practice they need to improve their literacy skills. With as many as 28 students in my class, I find it difficult to keep everyone engaged in meaningful assignments while I work with small groups.
These VersaTiles will be perfect for small group and independent practice.
The incorporation of science and social studies content in these activities is what drew me to them. Science is a tested area for my students and many of them don't understand how to read informational science text that include graphs and charts.
