Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

VersaTiles® is a program that will provide individualized, student-centered activities, which will have immediate feedback for the students. These activities reinforce the science concepts that are taught in class. Through the use of VersaTiles®, the students will be able to answer stated problems from a provided subject book, place the answer number tile in the appropriate space in the answer case, close the case, flip it over and open it up to find a geometric pattern on the activity page. Students immediately know if their answers are correct and are motivated to continue because of the pride of their success and the colorful patterns they create with the tiles. This system of learning gives the students an independent way to learn and review in a way that will not be embarrassing to them since it can be kept confidential. Summarizing . . . For the next academic year, our fifth grade students would benefit greatly from this proven method of learning. Our students are at a 98% poverty level. Our Chicago school is very old, and our supplies are quite limited by our funding. Our students could greatly benefit by this learning tool. And the point is . . . Please support individualized learning centers for a group of grateful Chicago fifth grade students by donating VersaTiles® Reading/Language Arts, Math, and Science Level 5 Labs.
