This is my second year teaching 1st grade. My students are learning how to be independent!
We are a Title I school, meaning many of our students come from poverty-stricken homes.
Some of them do not have parental support at home after school. Therefore, they are excited to come to school and learn.
Your funding will help them learn interactively about Vowel sounds, Blends, and Digraphs. This is a very needed skill for them to be able to read.
My Project
This is a self-checking system. Providing immediate results through self-checking, VersaTiles are an active alternative to practice workbooks.
Enabling kids to practice their skills independently and then empowering them by self-checking to receive immediate feedback on their work.
Practicing Independence in the classroom is vital for first graders. This empowers them to be successful as they continue on into the upper grades.
