My Students

The three students who have qualified to compete at the FCCLA National Leadership conference are truly one of a kind, or I guess I should say three of a kind. These ladies are all very independent and require very little of me as a classroom teacher. They are critical thinkers who have extremely high expectations of themselves.

While they are only in the 10th grade and this is the first time they have ever competed, they have done an outstanding job of creating a project that is top notch.

My Project

These ladies will be competing in the national STAR events competition. The category they will compete in is Food Innovations. They were tasked with creating a vegan dish that would appeal to teenagers. They created a vegan pizza with zucchini meatballs that was outstanding. They have created a project board that follows this project from the planning stages to the final product. They received second place in our state competition and are looking forward to the national competition.

These ladies are true leaders and your donation will help them improve and fine-tune their leadership skills by allowing them to interact with other leaders across the nation.
