This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at our school are welcoming people. I have had the pleasure of being at CECHS for 8+ years, and in that time the most common phrases that I hear are "family" and "accepting" when people describe our students. We have a unique population that fully represents all types of ethnicity and socioeconomic status. Sure, that is cool that on paper we represent different demographics, but in real life, it cultivates a great learning environment where people feel safe and accepted.

My Project

Hey everyone! Since the end of last season, our seniors have been setting the tone in the weight room, on the track, and in the classroom. Our CECHS boys soccer season is just around the corner and with that comes the cold Texas chill.

This is a follow-up order to our successful Donors Choose that we just had, we still had a few students who needed a sweater so I wanted to be sure they were looking like everyone else.

In doing so we will also look to prevent injury by keeping our muscles warm and avoiding that immediate cool down that winter brings.
