Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Physical Education program focuses on students getting in the best shape possible, as well as making sure they are physically active. Whether it comes from cardiovascular, strength training, or games/activities, we strive to provide every student with a healthy lifestyle.
Our students are a great group of kids who are very hard working.
Our school focuses on families with low incomes and tries to give each student the education they deserve. While we do not have much, the students use the materials they are given and do the very best they can with them.
My Project
My students need one Bocce Ball Set and one Bean Bag Toss Set. Due to our lack of resources, the school sometimes do not have a variety of games for the students to play. Sometimes we would have to play the same sport over and over again, to the point where the students would get bored of PE. The purpose of this project is for students to play a variety of games, as well as play something they have never played before.
With these games, the students will get to experience different sports and activities they have never played before, as well as have a new love and appreciation for Physical Education.
