Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky...They Could Be in My Classroom!
My students need colored pencils, Sharpie brush markers, Prang color wands (oil pastels), construction paper, and paint mixing trays.
Help me to mold a future Monet. I love the website art projects for kids. However, without the proper art materials I am unable to complete some of the wonderful projects to the fullest of my student's potential.
Of the 25 students in my classroom, I believe a future artist is just waiting to be tapped.
I want to hook them on the different mediums available to create their own masterpieces. Crayons, tempera paint, and pencils are just not enough. Most of the students in my classroom will never be able to take an art class with an actual art teacher due to financial constraints. I may not be a trained art teacher, but I do my best with the limited supplies I have in my school. However, I want to give them more and with these supplies I will be able to do that.
These resources would allow me to expose my students to various mediums. My art lessons will introduce them to a whole new art experience most will not get outside the four walls of my room. They will be thrilled to be able to use the same materials as the real artist we study. I am requesting a variety of art materials for my classroom, such as colored pencils, Sharpie brush markers, Prang color wands (oil pastels), construction paper, and paint mixing trays.
Thank you for considering my project.
You donation will open up a whole new experience for my students. The ability to show different techniques and the use of the various mediums will be a thrill for all students in my classroom.
