My Students
Our school has......Heart! Pirates......have Pride. That is our cheer in our classroom. I love my kids so much. When we start our day we are like a rocket ship zooming through space. We take off and don't stop until the bell rings to go home. Learning is happening every second in my room.
My kiddos are special.
Each day they enter my room eager to learn. I hold myself personally responsible to make their dreams come true. Each day I ask myself what can I do to make learning come alive.
My Project
My students would love to experience art with other supplies than the normal marker and crayon. Oil pastels and Sharpie pens will give the students a richer feeling to their creations. Even though we do not have a formal art teacher, I don't want this part of education to be forgotten. Each student needs the platform to express themselves in their own way. When a student hears the words, "Today we are going to do an art project," they immediately sit tall and all eyes are on me. They look like they are going to eat some exotic food they have never had before. This is why I want art to come alive in my room.
I have also asked for notebooks and sheet protectors to keep their art projects safe during the year.
These portfolios will be a treasure to keep and to look back upon in future years. What parent wouldn't love to have a portfolio of their art projects?
