Valentine's Day Treats

Help me give my students snacks and small toys to help celebrate Valentine's Day.

My Students

Our students attend an inner-city school where approximately 90% live below the poverty line. We spend a lot of time doing hands-on learning.

All of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches and participate in the backpack program on the weekends.

This does not stop our students from coming to school and showing their love for learning. We love to explore everything around us, both inside and outside of the classroom. We love to show what we know and learn in a hands-on way.

My Project

Do you remember the fun of passing out your valentines and getting treats? Sadly many of my kids miss out because they can't afford them.

This project would allow me to make sure that every kid can pass out valentines and enjoy treats with their friends on this day of friendship and love.

The snacks will go in their treat bags and the white craft bags will be used to create valentine mailboxes. I can't wait to see their excitement when they get to put their names on valentines and share.
