Valentine's Crafting

Help me give my students hands on items to celebrate Valentine's Day together!

My Project

For most major holidays, my grade level does a switch day. The next holiday that is coming up is Valentine's Day! I would love to have these trees to make with all of the first grade students. My plan is to have them use the markers to write a few things they love about themselves on the foam hearts and then use the other hearts to decorate the tree.

Valentine's Day is all about love and it's so important, even at such a young age, for the students to practice affirming themselves!

I am very excited about the possibility of making these with the kids!
