My Students

My students are part of a wonderful classroom "builder" community. We focus on developing good character traits in tandem with our academic learning. They work so hard to become the best they can every day. They know the importance of practice and repetition to learn. At our school we value little wins. We know that we all learn at a different pace and may need different tools to get to mastery of a concept. I love our classroom full of students that want to help each other and learn a lot!

My Project

Having the iPad pro in my classroom would make the world of a difference for my students. All throughout the day, I have to write on the whiteboard while I'm teaching. Because of this, I tend to be stuck in the front of the room. If I had the iPad, I could airplay my screen and use the pencil to write on it and it would show up on the screen. I would be able to walk all around the room while I'm teaching. I can check on my students and give extra support to the ones that are struggling. This would also make my teaching more engaging. It would help if we have to do online learning as well to be able to plan lessons and give presentations,.
