My Students
I teach 10th grade students in AP European History, World History, & World History Inclusion. Within all of these classes are a broad variety of learning styles but I have found that my students really enjoy having technology in the classroom.
My students love using the technology cart and are disappointed when we don't have access to it in class.
My students are so much more focused & engaged with one another when able to use the technology cart. It really enhances the way they learn.
My Project
We are beginning to use google classroom in our classroom as an alternative to using paper in the class. We currently have 10 Chromebooks that students must share in groups of 2 or more to utilize the internet while completing assignments using google classroom. We also share iPad carts with other classrooms when they are working or not being used for testing
Students also utilize these new Chromebook computers to do general research for projects and other activities like virtual propaganda poster gallery walks.
Students love the Chromebooks we have thus far but are in need of more so they can do individual work as well group activities.
