This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are always excited and eager to learn new things. Our classroom consists of a diverse group of students with varying disabilities including ADHD, specific learning disabilities, behavior difficulties, and cognitive delays. I have an inquisitive group of students, who are always eager to work with technology.
They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
My students and families have been trying their absolute best to continue learning at home, but they need materials to support their learning while developing reading and math skills.
It’s so important we continue to address their needs while they are not in the classroom.
My Project
My students need a wide range of materials to learn new ideas and concepts. My scholars need digital reading, writing and math materials to stay engaged.
By having these digital resources my students will be able to work on their math, and literacy skills.
I am asking for materials from the website Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT). Materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are aligned to Common Core standards. I will select materials to help my students with reading, writing, and math materials. Students will access the materials online and when possible they can get get hard copies to use at home.
These resources will allow me to differentiate instruction for each student to help meet their current IEP goals. Help me help my students and their families continue hybrid learning,
