I have the pleasure of teaching in Developmental Preschool classroom at VV ELC. My classroom is made up of 24 students ages 3 to 5. Many of my students are English Language Learners, qualify for free or reduced price lunch and 16 receive Special Education services. In our classroom we play with everyone, work hard, try new things, and respect each other’s space.
Our program is dedicated to providing a high quality learning environment that supports and meets EACH child where they are, celebrating individual strengths and efforts while fostering social emotional and early academic growth.
Our school district is committed to equity in education, high expectations for all and partnering with families and the community to ensure that all children achieve their potential. When it comes to student success in education, providing a high quality and engaging Early Childhood Education program, is critical. Technology plays a huge roll in making this possible.
Our classroom environment is in need of technology resources that increase our access valuable academic, social and communication tools and resources.
All students have the ability to be a learner and have the right to access high quality and ENGAGING INSTRUCTION. This iPad will be used to support individual students’ access to instruction, interact with new concepts, practice skills and communicate with one another.
