Using Mechanical Advantage to Generate Rotation for Cylinder Art

My Project

Our students are behaviorally challenged, at-risk youth, many of whom have spent very little time in any sort of typical classroom. Our school is a behavior school, meaning we are the institution where students go after being suspended, expelled or otherwise removed from a traditional school setting before either getting their behavior in line with what is acceptable in civilized society, or committing acts egregious enough to land them in jail or worse. These materials like belts and pulleys will help us create numerous artworks that require cylindrical rotation on which decorative arts and crafts can be applied. In particular pulleys and belts to drive them are being requested.
