Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are continually growing as people. They are artists, thinkers, scientists and problem solvers. They learn and grow from each other and help each other grow both academically and socially in and out of the classroom.
My own personal teaching style is hands-on and interactive with my students.
My students are the future and I want to give them the tools to become successful. Who wouldn't want to be part of a warm classroom with lots of hands-on fun?
My Project
Students are hands-on learners and explorers by nature. Wouldn't it be wonderful to make our Butterfly stories come to life? Students will use the Dell Laptop and speakers to research information on insect and butterfly lifecycles. The Science DVDs will also be useful in gathering data to help students see and hear the lifecycle process.
The best part about our digital research is the actual hands-on study of our butterfly kits.
Students will use hands-on research with digital story making. Student learning connections will be made in and out of the classroom. Let's help integrate science and technology using digital storytelling!
