This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are excited and curious about Biology and natural phenomena. They are the future scientists of the world! They inspire me to create innovative lessons to ensure their engagement and academic success. They enjoy hands-on learning activities that involve using their creativity to display their knowledge of course material. They have diverse learning styles that require differentiated instruction in order to cater to their unique individual strengths. They do their best when they are given opportunities to explore creatively.

My Project

In order to cater to diverse learning styles in my classroom, I incorporate hands-on activities into lessons that allow students to use their creativity to further their comprehension of biological concepts.

Model Magic will give my students a tool with which they can explore and discover deeper understandings of biological molecules and organisms.

It will also give students the opportunity to use their unique and creative skill sets to liven traditional curriculum.

Creativity and scientific inquiry are skills that students can sharpen and use in any discipline that they choose to pursue, whether it be to go to college, or into a vocation or employment.
