My class is made up of 20 precious PreK students. My school and my students are all very special to me. This is my hometown. This is where I went to school and now where my own children attend. Our school is a small town in a small rural school district with 4400 students total.
The town is committed to the education of their children and very involved in the school community.
However, many of our students come to school without basic classroom supplies, and budgets for materials are limited.
My Project
Using technology is a daily activity in the life of students in the 21st Century. By having three more iPads in our classroom, we will be able to complete small independent group assignments on the iPads.
IPads will allow for students to use apps that put them in control of their learning, that are specific to their needs, and that allows them to work independently using technology.
These iPads would be used to open up many more interactive learning opportunities for my students. Students will be able to practice many literacy, math, science, social studies, communication, and art skills through the opportunity to have iPads in their classroom to use.
