Help me give my students materials to learn and grown in their understanding of economics, U.S. government and politics as well as the justice system.

My Students

We are a smaller charter school serving grades 8th to 12th. Our students are an eclectic mix from throughout our region.

The best way to describe them is that they are leaders and innovators breaking the mold of typical teenagers to try this new experience.

Many of them were drawn to our school because of our high academic goals. We are excited to be on this adventure together.

My Project

This project is to bring creative materials to my students. Some of the best ways for students to learn is through games that involve real life concepts and competition. In small groups, students will be able to practice what they have learned and progress can be displayed on the leaderboard for the class to see.

Some students learn through visual representation.

Poster and infographs are impactful and teach students with a combination of text and pictures. They bring ideas together and solidify ideas.

Other students learn through practice and repetition. Study guides and flash cards can help students preparing for advanced placement exams or simply to review concepts.
