My Students

Our students are branching out and testing their independence in preparation of middle school and the real world. With a classroom rich in materials and love, my students will gain access to information that makes them aware of the world and how they can go forth and make a difference.

Our public, magnet school believes each child has a gift or a talent and it shows in the schedule.

Each quarter students attend two 40 minute electives four days a week. These electives can be anything from LEGO Robotics, to Ballet, Acting, or Blooming Botany. Our magnet students come from areas throughout the county as they found our school to provide unique learning opportunities and a mission true to fostering student confidence, culture, arts, and academics.

Many of our students find comfort and hope in the opportunities provided at school. All students are shown love and support each day and through the year.

My Project

My class is asking for a class set of A Wrinkle in Time because they love reading and discussing books together. The text will be an appropriate challenge for them as we delve into the genre of fantasy. We are also asking for a green screen background to impose images related to the text as they record live book reports! That's right, live! These student love to express their thoughts and opinions with their voice and in the role of news anchors. Help us make this happen in our class. One of these bright minds may be announcing your news one day!
