My Students

My students are hard-working and excited to learn. They surprise me every day with their ideas, independent thinking, and unique interests. A large percentage of my students are English Language Learners, where English is their second language. The elementary school is located in a low-income community and not that far from violence. Due to budget cuts and minimal financial support, our students lack the sufficient resources they need to excel academically. Approximately 98% of my students are currently residing in a low-income neighborhood, therefore they lack the proper resources to foster their learning and love of school.

My students are learning in an environment that offers life skills, the ability to work in collaborative groups, become "emotional smart" and ”be social-emotional aware".

All important skills for now and the future.

My Project

Given the current school closure situation until May 4th or the rest of the school year. I have to continue supporting my students “With Unknown Enemies NOW With Learning at Home Online” With Educational Consultant and Coach Selina Jackson help, We will teach students to be more effective social and emotional learning in an online setting. They will be more self-directed an autonomous; more responsible, experience easier, more effective online teaching and learning, develop unstoppable confidence and powerful self-esteem, They will learn how to manage their emotions more effectively;building resilience. Selina will use hew NEW Curriculum EMOMASTERS™: Social and Emotional Learning Curriculum that can assign targeted lessons to my students.
