My Students

These students range from German I to AP German IV. They are very passionate about learning and being exposed to new worlds. Many of them have never been out of our state to see what differences the world offers. Because of the number of students that come from low income homes, the exposure to new cultures is something that not all of them have had the chance to experience.

My students are very enthusiastic about learning.

They enjoy the chance to use their developing language skills in a large variety of ways. They realize that we are not only learning about a new language and culture but also developing skills that will help them after high school.

My Project

While our classroom is rocking it, we need to replace some things that are getting very worn out or that were ruined by someone using the classroom over the summer. We have had the same headsets for ten years. We use them multiple times a week for listening and speaking practice. New ones would allow us to continue to do so.

Listening is a vital part of a world language.

Due to a spoken computer speaker and headphones that are starting to fail, listening is sometimes a struggle currently. These items would fix these issues. We would love to up our listening and speaking skills.
