This year I began teaching a 12:1 classroom in my school- the first time this type of classroom has been in my building for a few years!
Due to opening up a new classroom, I am in desperate need of books!
I am looking to expand my classroom library with books of interest and readiness levels for my students! In particular, graphic novels, and books of diversity to engage them in reading success!
Additionally, one flexible seating chair is here for a special reading nook!
My Project
These books will allow my students to have books that interest them, represent diversity, and also are at their readiness levels! For example, graphic novels, books that demonstrate diverse characters or settings, and books of various reading levels! These books will reach students of diverse reading levels achieve their unique reading goals more quickly than in the past!
In addition, the chair will allow them to have some flexible seating for them to have a comfortable seat to read at!
My students work well when they are engaged and comfortable, so this will help them improve their stamina and their comprehension as well!
