My students are explorers, risk-takers, and innovators of tomorrow. Located in Northwest Arkansas, the population of my school is vastly diverse in background and opportunity. Yet, I am continually amazed at how they are able to build lasting communities of learning and challenge themselves to achieve more than is expected of them.
They are deeply passionate about learning and creatively solving problems in and out of the classroom.
Although their passions differ from each other, all are worthy to be explored.
My Project
Our G.T. program was moved to two new rooms this year. We have access to more lab space than ever before! This opens up some incredible new opportunities for my students to take their tinkering, designing, and innovation to new levels. From product development to 3D printing, to graphic designing, to eSports, to coding, to robotics- this lab can do it all.
This innovation lab will make me want to be a middle schooler again.
That is saying a lot because those were assuredly not my peak years.
With the graphics card scarcity and scalpers driving up prices, a prebuilt computer is the only feasible way for my students to get their hands on an advanced GPU like the RTX 3070. My students will be able to explore economics, art, science, engineering, design, and much more with this state-of-the-art graphics card.
