My students are special in so many ways. We are in a school that services military children in our town. My school is truly a melting pot of diversity, talents, and cultures. My students love to learn and relate things to the real world. I make all learning fun and interactive as well as engaging for my students.
During this time of uncertainty, my students are all over the place in terms of attendance to their online Zoom class sessions, turning in completed work, and keeping in contact with the teacher.
I feel it is my job right now to keep learning fun and engaging to keep them pulled in for the learning to continue.
Not all students are self-driven to keep themselves motivated to complete online work on their own.
My Project
This school year has definitely been a challenge for both teaching and learning. This project is very special to me because it will be upgrading the way I will present material and teach online with my students who are learning virtually, as well as those still in the classroom.
My students have never lived a day in this world without technology; As a teacher, I want to utilize their technical skills and include them in the way that I teach and for the students to use their skills to apply to their learning and creating.
This project will allow for upgraded presentations, document creation, more storage, and new programs to be implemented into my teaching as well as allow the students new ways to view content and engage in the digital curriculum.
