This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school library looks like something out of the 70s. The posters are old and dilapidated. The posters are peeling off the walls. They are old and dusty. I would like to tear down everything and put up up-to-date posters that inspire the students to want to read. I would like to create an environment where the students will want to go to read.

The posters that I chose have reading strategies for students to read and learn to be effective readers.

The environment that I hope to create is that of learning environment. The library should be a place to go and read. Right now, it's empty and not inviting.
