My Project

For the past several months I have moved into a program designed for high school students who are interested in pursing a degree in education. Most of these students come from a home without parents with college experience.

These high school students may have many different backgrounds and limited resources but their camaraderie and desire to learn make every day a joy.

They truly are special and fun to teach. Our room, however, does not have the most desirable lighting. The building is over 50 years old, and certain things are very dated. One of those is the harsh, florescent lights. For some, they get headaches from it. I have hung string lights to try to help, but it still doesn't supply quiet enough light conducive to proper vision.
