My Students

I am proud to call myself a lifelong Brooklynite. I'm even prouder to say that I teach Language Arts and Reading to a terrific group of 8th Graders at a Title I middle school in beautiful Brooklyn, New York. Many of my students face challenges on a daily basis that most of us cannot even dream of, yet they are always looking to the future and for a better life. They know that with hard work and determination, they can make the world a better place.

My Project

My students need a new laptop to replace the ancient laptop computers we are now using in class. For some of them, this is the only technology available, as they do not have computers at home. By having access to up to date technology, they will be able to enhance their work, give it a professional look, and become more college & career ready.

You can not be a 21st century student without 21st century technology.

My students must be able to use the latest technology or they will not be able to succeed in the real world. Help bring us in to the 21st century where we can learn and succeed better.
