Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help provide my special education classroom with and updated classroom library. I want to provide them with monthly and holiday themes to get them excited about reading. Themes allow the students to relate the books to what is going on in the real world around them. My students have also really enjoyed reading silly books this year, help provide books that will bring them endless smiles, laughs and giggles. So much of reading is focused on testing. These books allow the students to simply read for fun. In a world that can often bring challenges, these students deserve time to just enjoy reading.
