My Students

I teach in a large, urban, public school. We are a Title 1 school and all of our students receive a free breakfast and lunch. This year, our district had to make several building changes and closures due to funding, which has not allowed for a lot of advanced planning. My students come to me at many different levels of ability, and many of them are below where they should be for their age. It is very easy for them to give up on a daily basis, but day after day they put their best foot forward.

My Project

The use of a Promethean Board in our classroom is a daily occurrence. To run this board we are in need of an up to date/current laptop that will allow us to utilize all of the high tech features the Promethean Board has to offer.

Currently we are using a small, out of date, net book that does not have the capability to run our board to the fullest extent.

A new, up to date, laptop will allow my students to have a fully interactive experience while learning. Seeing is believing, especially to middle school students. Help us be On Point!
