My Students

I love working in a school district that is blessed with teachers that go above and beyond for our students. Our school is in a low income community where 100 percent of our students have free breakfast and lunch. My students face several challenges in and out of the classroom.

I want to create a fun, engaging, learning environment for my students.

Having several students in my classroom with learning disabilities, I am always looking for new ways to engage them and give them confidence in the classroom. We like to move around and create new ways for the students to get involved in the lesson. I am hopeful that I can inspire my students to be successful

My Project

I have a classroom with 23 sixth graders that would benefit from real time examples in math, science, grammar, reading, and writing.

This document camera will be very helpful especially in science class!

No more huddling around a small table. We can now project on the screen for all of the students to see. This will give my students an opportunity to feel more engaged.

They can use the document camera to present their work. It will allow me to show visual learners the page of the book I am reading and give them the opportunity to follow along with me on the board.
