My Students

I am a 7th Grade Language Arts teacher in a great Junior High School. I encourage all different types of reading in my classroom, whether that is reading traditional novels, comic books or anything in-between.

I want to make sure my students get to read books that were written while they have been alive and connect with the world they have grown up in.

I know a lot of my students do not always enjoy reading and I think this book will get them engaged and actually have them looking forward to reading!

Also, the ability to read different genres like Sci-Fi or mystery.

My Project

This would make a difference because I currently do not have access to this book for my kids and not having the book should not stop kids from experience this book.

I think they would really enjoy this novel and having the physical book keeps them more engaged and remembering details of the story in my opinion.

Anything would help and I truly appreciate your time in considering my project. You would be giving underprivileged kids a book to look forward to reading and i can keep teaching it for years to come. Also, I would not have to stress about finding another book to read.
