My Students

My 6th grade classroom is a place of wonder and students finding themselves. Each day students show up eager to learn. My goal is to provide students with engaging authentic lessons to help them grow into passionate learners.

I teach at a Title 1 school in New York where 83% of students receive free or reduced lunch.

Students are not always dealt a fair hand, but love coming to a warm, comfortable classroom each and every day.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful.

My Project

This Breakout EDU kit is an amazing tool to get students up and moving around the classroom. They are able to problem solve and collaborate on different games that the kit contains. There are different games and cases they need to solve that are related to the 6th grade curriculum. This kit allows students to have the materials needed to participate in the fun and engaging missions in the subscription. Getting students engaged and excited in learning is key to having students with a love for school and a love for learning. This will be so beneficial to my students!
