The students in my classroom struggle with generational poverty mind-set, book availability, and one on one booking reading at home. My project will establish a classroom library to foster the love of reading while equipping and empowering future leaders.
My Project
The resources listed in this project will allow all future students the opportunity to travel to destinations, discover cultures, grow emotionally, and socially through personal connections, inquiry and relationships throughout their journeys.
Reading is a fundamental literacy skills.
We should always encourage our students to read, and it shouldn't be dependent upon their individual literacy levels, ability to access books, or support systems.
