Mrs. M. Huguet from Brooklyn NY is requesting supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need volleyball supplies including knee pads, volleyballs, agility ladder, and more to maintain their ability to play competitive volleyball.

"Exceptional outstanding and talented" are the words I would use to describe the students at my school. As a teacher in a title nine school, my students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges they face, I love to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences in playing volleyball.
My student athletes are very dedicated when it comes to volleyball.
They have spent countless hours practicing and preparing for games on and off season. My team understands that it takes hard work and dedication to be successful at volleyball. For three consecutive years we have been able to place second in our division. Our successful season is due to having the necessary supplies to train each student athlete. Currently, I have 20 girls on my girls' volleyball team and 15 boys on my boys' varsity team. Volleyball at our school is in high demand, and I would always take the maximum amount of players who would tryout. But, unfortunately, our supplies have run out, and my student athletes may have to reduce our team size.
Volleyball is an exciting sport requiring teamwork, co-ordination, and athleticism. The growth in popularity of volleyball has led to the establishment of a considerable, competitive environment for teams to take part in. To stay competitive, I need to make sure my teams are equipped properly. Expenses include equipment, team apparel and court-time.
When It comes to playing volleyball it isn't an easy sport to play.
It can often take time to develop volleyball skills. It challenges the mind and most often results in a satisfying experience. When playing volleyball, players will need continuous feedback to master the skills and have effective plays in volleyball. The Molten and Baden volleyballs that I'm requesting will develop my players' ability to learn the fundamental skills, as well as the advance skills for playing volleyball. While practicing and playing, my players will use the knee pads to prevent knee injuries, when playing defensive plays.
My student athletes will get a well rounded volleyball program as well as develop their skills to take to a higher level of play. Many of my student athletes have gone on to college to play volleyball. For this, I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to write for these donations through DonorsChoose.
