Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very motivated to learn. The students are well-behaved, friendly, and caring towards one another. They love to come to school to learn. Our school is working hard to "Build a Community of Lifelong Learners." The school is a positive environment and a safe haven for our students.

My students attend a Title I school, where the majority of students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

The students in my class love school; every day the students come in smiling and ready to learn.

My Project

My project is designed so that we can meet the basic and essential needs of our students. Our students wear uniforms to school every day. Many families struggle to either purchase school uniforms or replace them once their child has outgrown them. Your donation will allow us to provide uniforms for students at no charge.

By donating to this project, you are not only giving to our students' essential needs but also helping them focus on their academics.

There are a variety of reasons that these students' families face that cause them to send their children to school out of uniform. Some of these include economic struggles and homelessness. Having a supply of uniform shirts and pants will ensure that those in need will have on a uniform and they can keep their focus on learning.
