Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students that I serve are in a low-income community, but these students are the most loyal and deserving children you will ever meet. These students make due with what they have and they strive to be better everyday. I serve two schools: an elementary school and a middle school, both in the heart of Atlanta. The students at both schools have great needs.

These students are extra special and they deserve all the chances that kids in every other school get.

They want to learn just as bad and they deserve to be given the same opportunities.

My Project

Our school is a uniform school, but unfortunately, all of our girls can't always afford to buy extra shirts and pants. As their uniforms get worn from daily wear, we would like to be able to provide those girls who can't afford them extra pants and shirts. Our ultimate goal is to have a closet full of them, so whenever there is a need, we can provide.

Our school uniform consists of pink polo shirts and brown or khaki pants.

With your generous donations, we can ensure our girls are always ready for school in their pink and brown attire.
