My students are hard-working, inquisitive, and interested learners. They are the most empathetic group of kids I have ever met. They come to school every day ready to learn. They are kind, thoughtful, and caring to one another and to other students in the school.
They love to read, and love to learn math!
They make me so proud each and every day. I love to be their teacher. I look forward to seeing their smiling faces every morning as they come in and give me a hug!

I need these materials because I do not have enough options for my students to choose where they sit. These will give my students more opportunities to choose where they get to sit to learn!
My Project
Unfortunately, lately, the news is full of bad news and anxiety for our young students.
We are avoiding talking about things going on in our country to avoid anxiousness and anxiety in our students.
I want to give my students a chance to explore the world through history. It is with this project I plan to let my students jump into a time machine and learn from past historical moments. I love what books can do for children. I always tell my students when you start reading, you are taking a vacation using your brain. You escape reality and travel to a new place or new time.
I want to use these materials to allow my students to do that. It is through past mistakes that we learn how to make a better future. I cannot wait to use these materials to have deep conversations about past events and how they have shaped us as human beings today.
